Jailed conman Sukesh Chadrasekar, who is charged with multi-million dollar fraud, has offered OpenAI founder Sam Altman $3 billion in investment.
Reportedly, Sukesh sent Altman a letter offering an immediate investment of $1 billion and the rest $2 billion over a period of five years. In his letter to the ChatGPT-maker firm’s CEO, the conman remarked, “As you and your company are now working towards becoming a part of India’s National AI Agenda, I want to play a small role by making an investment in OpenAI of 1 billion USD, immediately, and further extend it to another 2 billion USD over the next five years for your Indian operations.”
He further implored, “Sam, why go to venture capital investors? Why should the big boys always have all the fun? Sam, please just take my money.” Sukesh states in his letter that he built a successful online gaming empire that is raking in billions in annual revenue.
Per reports, the Sukesh Chandrasekar letter to Sam Altman was sent via Anantam Legal, a law firm based out of New Delhi.
Sukesh has earlier offered to buy 50-70% stake in Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, which later got an investment by billionaire Adar Poonawalla, whose Serene Productions bought 50% stake in the company.
