Bandai Namco unveils Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree prologue movie

Today Bandai Namco have unveiled a prologue movie for Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree. This movie explains some of the game’s plot, ahead of the game’s release on September 19. The studio had previously unveiled the game’s opening movie last week, and we had the chance to go hands-on with the game very briefly during Summer Game Fest earlier this month. Earlier this week we also reported on some additional gameplay details, as well as a slew of new screenshots.

Continuing Bandai Namco’s marketing push for the recently revealed game, today’s roughly 5 minute long video explains the story in more detail than the synopsis we’ve previously received. Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree launches for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on September 19, 2025.
