Post-Post-Apocalypse Rhythm-RPG Steel Century Groove hits the dance floor in 2025

Today Sloth Gloss Games have revealed Steel Century Groove, a Rhythm-RPG where you command mechas in dance battles against your opponents, in the Post-Post-Apocalypse. The game dances onto PC (Steam) sometime in 2025, and alongside the game’s reveal the studio has included a reveal trailer:

In the Post-Post-Apocalypse, humanity no longer has a reason to use the war machines they created to prevent the end of the world, so now they’ve repurposed them for dance battles. You can craft a team of different Lanzers with their own dance loadouts to battle rivals and aim to become the world’s dance champion. Steel Century Groove launches for PC sometime next year.

Unlike other rhythm games, Steel Century Groove doesn’t demand a specific button press for each note. Instead, choose the best moves to defeat your opponent.

Each mech has a unique set of moves with their own mechanics and resources. A simple starter mech builds and spends energy, while later mechs have you maintaining an army of drones or swapping between cards in a mini deck builder.
